Marc and I went to the aquarium which I quite liked as I love to be underwater but I hate swimming, therefore viewing underwater scenes while remaining in the sweet, sweet taste of nice safe oxygen and appropriate gravity levels is always appealing to me.
Here are some pictures I was able to take as my technology remained safe and dry:
Also there were taxidermy-animals which was a treat. There was a taxidermy Lynx which was cool because I love Lynx (the cat-like animal not the appalling 'scent' for 'men') especially taxidermy ones as they cannot viciously attack me. For some reason I did not take a photo of it and yet I have several photos of a taxidermy (taxidermied?) alpaca as an hilarious yet fully appropriate joke to share with Elsa. But then I read the sign properly and discovered they were llamas not alpacas (yes, for awhile I did think 'stuff it (lol taxidermy pun) who knows the difference anyway*?' But then I reminded myself that Elsa would know the difference and Elsa would point it out mockingly. Here are some of the photos I did take that are not of llamas:
*I took it upon myself to further investigate the llama vs alpaca debate and found pictures representative of both species:
(a llama 'hilariously' photoshopped)
(an alpaca from montana)
Conclusion: both are fabulous.
